FAQs

Q: Is there a minimum order size to customize products?

A: Yes, custom orders must be a minimum of 100 products.

Q: Can I choose one of your designs without customizing it?

A: Each customized product has its own corresponding standard product, using any image other than the standard product is a customized order.

Q: How long does a custom order take?

A: Custom orders typically take 6-8 weeks to process.

Q: What parts of the planner can I customize?

A: All of the cover spaces (front, back, and insides of the covers) are customizable. You may also add any additional pages of your own content to the front or back of the planner. We have several inserts that can be added to custom orders.

Q: Will my materials be printed in color?

A: We print all cover materials in full color.

Q: Can you print my own custom planner layout?

A: Yes, we do print custom planner formats or you can build your own planner design using some of our templates.

Q: What file formats do you accept?

A: Ausgift accepts print-ready files in the following formats: .eps, .jpg, .pdf, .psd and .tif. Be sure to include all support files and fonts. For more information on artwork submission guidelines, visit Design Assistance.

Q: Can I expect an exact color match?

A: The color in your product may not match the color in your proof exactly because of differences in monitor resolution and the variance between computer colors and printed colors. You can greatly increase your chances of getting the desired color output in the final product by saving your digital files in CMYK color mode.

Please be aware that due to the nature of four-color printing, we cannot print every color available on a computer monitor. We follow the industry standard of "pleasing color." Due partially to the widely varying results from different output devices, there is no guarantee that your finished piece will match your printed sample.

Q: What printing process do you use?

A: Our printing press uses CMYK ink (no spot colors). While we can get relatively close to most PMS colors, we can’t guarantee an exact match. If you supply a layout using RGB colors, we have to convert to CMYK and a noticeable color shift may occur. So to eliminate surprises, carefully check your color palette.
